Peaster

Peaster is located approximately 9 miles northwest of Weatherford along FM 920. Settlement of the community began in the 1870’s, but in recent years the community has grown significantly. Many people today seek to leave behind city living to escape to a beautiful country setting, but with city conveniences in easy reach. Peaster checks all those boxes and the best is yet to come! The community passionately supports is school district, making the school an attraction that draws many people to explore the community. The Peaster Greyhounds have a history of success both in the classroom and in athletics. The Greyhounds successfully compete in 3A both on a local and state level with a history of many teams and individual superlatives including a pair of State Championships in Boy’s Basketball. Many country estate communities are currently underway in the area providing a number of options for those looking to relocate to Peaster. Most of these new communities offer 2+ acre homesites with scenic settings and easy access back to the city for major shopping and dining options. In the Peaster community you will find gas station, dining, service providers, small retailers, post office and more.
